I was closing up the library, so I was going floor to floor
and checking on things. I don’t know what I was doing in
this particular location of the library because I don’t
normally go over there, especially when closing. I was
walking and I noticed a complete set of your posters on
the wall. I mean, a full set! That is so rare, its like
collecting all of the pokemon or something.
I was especially impressed because it had been four days
since Valentines Day and they were still up.

faculty room

Here are some pics of a teacher faculty room.
I put up the posters and a facebook “like” sign was drawn on the board.

The next day the number 2 was there.

Posted in a cement washout in Texas:

how to write a crazy love letter

*
there’s a junior high in my neighborhood. after school there’s a huge crowd of kids
hanging out on this grass ridge that has a cement washout to crawl down into and
hangout, sometimes you can see kids skateboarding in it, or drawing with chalk.
mostly they chat in small groups and wait for the ice cream truck. and when
it does—they move as quickly as is cool to, and form a haphazard line, where
boyfriends hold crumpled dollar bills and ask their sweetheart, orange
creamsicle or icecream sandwich?  (you know i’d go for the choco taco)

so in this washout i put up the love notes.
and the kids added their own.

lizzie loves robert
daniel loves ann
steve loves harper
tina loves sam
sydney loves michael

so i added mine too
rebeca loves david

and told the kids they could keep the posters.

Located in a local and slightly rundown strip mall with a gas station on the other side

First, some Passion Pit

Second, some photographs: how to write a crazy love letter

From our San Antonio curator:

I was in my minivan with my 2 kids in tow and music blasting from the car.
(I’m including a link to the song so you can feel the vibe of my trip a little more).
Also, I think my almost 5 year old daughter’s outfit really adds to the overall feel.[…] She woke up
and put this outfit on over her jammies and was rocking it all day long.  When I told her to get ready
to leave, she threw her rhinestone studded pink cowgirl boots on and the outfit was complete.
She looks like some sort of deranged yet adorable cupid.

THANK YOU!
(Your vacant lot between two gas stations is so lovely!)

“Attached are a couple photos of the first two posters. These ones are
now gone. Hopefully someone loves them and took them.”

From NNW at 24mph gusting to 36mph

Apparently this is what 20lb Hammermill broadsides will look like after a windstorm.

[When I first opened the attachment, I assumed they’d been ripped down by some kid.]
